In Mpika, many families continue to face serious economic challenges. High unemployment levels, limited access to practical skills training, and a shortage of sustainable income opportunities have left many young people, women, and vulnerable community members struggling to build stable and secure futures. Despite their determination and potential, many simply do not have access to the opportunities and resources needed to thrive.
At Hares Flori Organic Gardens, we believe that real and lasting change begins with empowerment. In response to these growing challenges, we launched a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative to establish a Community Livelihood Skills Training Centre — a project designed to equip community members with practical, income-generating skills that can help transform lives and restore hope.
We are proud to share that this vision is already becoming a reality.
Construction of the training centre has already begun, and the structure is currently at window level. This progress represents more than just bricks and mortar — it represents hope for a better future for countless individuals and families in Mpika.
Once completed, the centre will provide hands-on skills training and empowerment programs focused on helping youth, women, and vulnerable individuals become self-reliant, financially independent, and better prepared to create sustainable livelihoods. The goal is not only to reduce unemployment and poverty, but also to build confidence, dignity, and opportunity within the community.
However, we urgently need support to complete this important project.
Your contribution will help us finish the construction of the centre and create a safe and inspiring learning environment for the people who need it most. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to opening doors of opportunity for the Mpika community.
This is more than a building project — it is an investment in people, in futures, and in lasting community transformation.
Together, we can empower lives, strengthen families, and create opportunities that will impact generations to come.
Please join us in bringing this vision to completion and helping the people of Mpika build a brighter future.
